Born 1988
Attended East Hampton High School, CT. Was an active member of the music program under the direction of Curt Weybright, and participated in several Regional and All-State competitions for saxophone. It was during this time he self taught himself composition and developed his love for march music.
Had first march performed in 2006 by the CCSU Wind Ensemble at the CMEA Composer's Concert.
Graduated EHHS 2006.
Attending Central Connecticut State University, completing a BA in Music.
He currently serves as lead saxophonist in the CCSU Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and Chamber Winds. Was Drum Major of the CCSU Blue Devil Marching Band for the 2010 season. Is studying saxophone under the direction of Dr. Carl Knox.
Wrote the official fight song for the CCSU Blue Devil Marching Band.
Has written approximately two dozen marches since first started composing in 2005. Seven of these have been performed by various ensembles.
Shares an equal love for saxophone performance. Has taught private saxophone lessons since 2005.
He continues to research and collect march music, and maintains "Take it to the Trio", an online blog featuring various articles of information and humor.
David hopes to be a foremost march music authority figure in the country.
