The Brucette

This march was written for my friend, Jennifer Glaude, a fellow EHHS alumni (where she played flute) and CCSU student. The title comes from her high school nickname, "Bruce" (don't ask). When asked what some her most favorite songs were of all time, after a considerable amount of "I can't choose" 's, she finally listed a number of Beatles songs. This march features both "Ob-la-di" and "Hey, Jude" in the trio and final strain, respectively. The latter is played as a flute solo the first time through.

Key: F, Bb

Meter: Cut time
