Weybright's Favorite

While “favorite” has no official ground, this march is still dedicated to my high school music director, Curt Weybright. High school was when I first became truly serious about music, and Mr. Weybright has allowed me in every way possible to excel. To date, Mr. Weybright is one of the most experienced music educators in Connecticut, who also directs the marching, choral, jazz, and theory programs. This piece is a simple little march, with a nice 6/8 swing. The contrapuntal solo heard at the first trio repeat can be scored for any instrument.
